Adamah is a spiritual but abstract journey within the self. The book takes its title from the Hebrew word adamah for earth in order to answer the zen koan: "Who then is wearing that body devoid of life for you?" as the author takes us on a journey through grief, memory and the resolution to march forward.
Celine Zins is a widely published poet/writer in France and is a translator for writers such as Philip Roth, Joyce Carol Oates, Ernest Hemingway, and others.

In addition to being a poet she is also known for being a renowned translator in France of works by Carols Fuentes, Philip Roth, Joyce Carol Oates, Oscar Lewis, Ernest Hemingway,William Faulkner, J.M. Synge and Julio Cortazar.
